Watchdog Media Group was sparked by one person’s frustration with media that twists stories, buries facts, and pushes one-sided narratives, leaving audiences misled and creators unfairly targeted. This all started in 2024, when Good Omens Season 3 — originally set for six 43-minute episodes — was slashed to a single 90-minute feature. Why? A woman accused the show’s writer, Neil Gaiman, of sexual assault from a consensual encounter 20 years earlier. No charges were filed, no conviction followed, yet the media labeled him a predator, ignoring critical context.

Digging into the accuser’s own words, I found she admitted to willingly visiting Gaiman’s home, sharing a romantic bath, and texting him the next day about enjoying their time together. These details, demonstrating consent at the time, were absent from mainstream reports. The result? A beloved series, adored by millions, was gutted by over 66% because of regret aired decades later and amplified by sloppy journalism. I wasn’t having it.

So, I wrote an article; the damage of the accusations had been done, so I tackled it from the context of Amazon Prime’s contractual obligation. To make my fledgling news site feel legit, I investigated other cases of media distortion. The floodgates opened: story after story of half-truths and silenced perspectives. From there, Watchdog Media Group took shape—a one-woman mission fueled by resilience and sheer stubbornness.
